Roteck South Africa (Registration No. 2009/022321/23) is presently a privately held closed corporation, founded early 2009 and situated in Linbro Park east of Johannesburg, South Africa. We develop, manufacture and market mainly EMF weapon detectors and other security related equipment. Additionally we offer a variety of original and modified hand held metal detectors, walk through metal detectors, EAS (anti shoplifting) systems, baggage scanners and other industrial safety, security and monitoring equipment.

Roteck has become already a new well known and respected brand in the detection and inspection industry as our strength is the variety of products available from different selected sources, and matching our customer’s budget and requirements. We are also involved in product and application development, we modify existing systems as well and we assemble different technologies and equipment for special applications, and mobility.

By the way, the meaning of Roteck is the German translation (simplified) red corner. That's why, all genuine Roteck products can be identified by a red corner in its construction or by our label. Another interpretation is the German (Austrian) name of the Italian Monte Rosso, highest peak in the Texel group of the Oetztal Alps.
